Please read the following information below concerning free trial program for kids and adults.

Potential students will need to sign the wavier online at before attending your free class.

***Please make sure you have registered for a class for the week free.


  • To ensure that you or your child’s class is a successful one, your first class must be scheduled through the website. If you do not receive a text reminding you about your 1st class 8 hours prior to class, then it has not been scheduled.

  • We do not allow potential students to show up for a class without it being scheduled prior.

  • If you are having issues signing up online, you may call the studio and speak to personnel to schedule your 1st class (208) 846-9119

  • Arrive 15 minutes early; check into office and login class.

  • All classes you or your child are attending during the trial period will need to be added to the calendar; you can do this by letting the office personnel know when you or your child will be attending the remainder of your classes.

  • We will then add you to the schedule.

  • This allows our system to send you a text reminder about your upcoming classes.

KIDS 7-11 & TWEEN 12-14:

  • For our kids’ program 7 – 11 and tween program 12 -14, the first class will be held in a regular class (either kids or tweens) combined with other new kids and tweens.

  • New students will be in a group along with an instructor going over the basic Gracie Jiu-Jitsu techniques.

  • We have two days a week that kids ages 7 – 14 students can come in for their first class. It will be shown on the class schedule as “Free trial 1st class youth program”

  • Once the first class is completed the student will finish out their free trial in the appropriate class and age group.

  • Males- shorts/sweats and t-shirt

  • Females- sweatpants/yoga pants, form-fitting shirt, no V-neck or low-neck t-shirt, no tank tops, sports bra if applies, long hair in ponytail, no make-up or jewelry.

  • T-shirts will be tugged at and pulled while grappling so do not wear your best t-shirt.


  • Lil Rhino’s will participate in class and will be guided through the class on what to do by instructors. At this age, it is all about having fun while learning basic Gracie Jiu-Jitsu techniques.


  • Adults (15 and older) will start in the Adult Fundamentals classes, first two classes are with an instructor one on one. After those are completed you may attend a class to participate in it with the rest of the students.

  • Potential new students CAN NOT attend the Monday & Wednesday class 6:00 am class until they become a full-time student at Team Rhino.
